My wife sometimes tells me I must have slept through the 1980’s. Although that is an exaggeration, I must admit I only got to really know this song recently through a Montreal singing group called Best Friends. The arrangement here is based on the arrangement we used to do, kazoos and all. The track even has a bit of the “friends hanging out and someone’s place and singing” ambiance that was central to Best Friends, although I sing and play everything myself.
